BIBA 2020 Exhibitor and Sponsor Refunds

I would like to update you with some important information relating to your booking at BIBA 2020.

The impact of coronavirus has left all of us, in both our personal and business lives, having to navigate unchartered waters and we fully understand the very difficult decisions many of you are having to make at this time.

With this in mind, I am pleased to be able to confirm that BIBA will be making a full refund of all stand booking, sponsorship and additional fees (for example, fringe sessions, Show Preview entries etc.), relating to BIBA’s 2020 Conference & Exhibition. All such invoices already raised but not yet paid, will also be waived. The conference team will be back in touch soon with details about how your refund will be credited to you.

I want to take this opportunity to thank you all for the huge level of patience and trust you have placed in us over the last few weeks while we have worked through the many unprecedented challenges and implications of cancelling an event as large and as complex as this.

Many of you have asked about securing space for next year’s event. Whilst regrettably it will not be possible to transfer any payments already made in respect of BIBA 2020, over to next year’s event, we will be offering an option for you, as a 2020 exhibitor, to make a booking for the same stand, where possible, at BIBA 2021, which we hope will assist you in planning and enable to you re-use as much of this year’s investment as possible. Again, more information on how to take advantage of this priority opportunity will be available soon.

The BIBA Conference & Exhibition has grown into the vibrant and inclusive event at the heart of the insurance industry only with the amazing level of support and investment given to it by companies such as yours. Thank you once again for your continued patience and support.

Manchester Central Convention Complex, as I am sure you are aware, recently opened its doors as the NHS Nightingale Hospital North West in response to Covid-19, and we applaud the venue for its adaptability and involvement during this very difficult time. We look forward to returning to Manchester Central next year on 12 & 13 May, when we pledge to create a show that will support you with the opportunity to meet, learn and do business as we rebuild for the future.
