The BIBA conference this year will feature BIBA’s first ever ‘Knowledge Bar’, an area where delegates can speak to experts to learn how to get the most out of their data, understand the latest customer trends and how to make the most of their digital presence.
The idea is that following your visit to the Knowledge Bar, which will be prominently placed just inside the main entrance of Manchester Central, you’ll be able to take away at least one skill or piece of information that will help you to pioneer when you get back to the office on Friday morning. There will be experts stationed in the Knowledge Bar and the following areas will be covered:
Data enrichment and benchmarking
We’ve teamed up with one of the best InsurTech firms around, Digital Fineprint, who will supply experts who use different data sources to deliver insights on SME clients as well as broking firms themselves. Their award-winning approach has seen them work with a number of large carriers on projects including QBE, Hiscox, Salesforce and Euler Hermes.
As an industry, we generate a huge amount of data, but how much of it do we use? We’re bringing experts from Acturis, Applied, Open GI and SSP into the Knowledge Bar to show you how to run several vital reports, give you context to help you understand what they mean and build actionable insights from the information.
What do customers want? Answer this question and prosperity is yours. To help you be better informed in this area, we’re bringing along Consumer Intelligence to help develop your thinking. Consumer Intelligence gather unique data and intelligence about consumers and companies to understand the market. They blend this with our consumer research to shine a light on what people are selling and what people are buying. They also have much experience of recent, fundamental changes in the banking sector and with insurance moving in the same direction, the future is full of both opportunities and threats. It’s certainly worth having a conversation with them just for that.
UpSkill Digital Marketing Presentations
In an increasingly digital marketplace, how would you rate your firm’s ability to increase optimisation for search engine listings? We’re putting on short upskill sessions with experts who will help you navigate the digital landscape, understand how people consume your website and will enable you to build the digital marketing skills needed to cut through the noise and better reach new and existing customers.
There are three digital marketing presentations and they will all run on both conference days, so if you’re unable to attend your chosen presentation on, say, Wednesday, you will have the opportunity to see it repeated on Thursday.
